Reva Manifesto

Reva explores the tension between technology and tradition. It combines nostalgic elements, like wood and red wool, with futuristic PETG forms to symbolize the clash between the past and the future.

Reva Manifesto reimagines traditional furniture design through a bold and expressive lens. Inspired by the organic structures of nature and the intricacies of hand-crafted forms, this chair embodies a unique interplay of functionality and art. The vibrant red knitted elements wrap around the chair like growing vines, creating a dynamic texture that invites exploration.

Reva has been featured in:

“Re:work” exhibition at Secrist Beach Gallery

“Making (do)” exhibition at Slvrmdesign

I designed Reva to reflect how technology often overshadows traditional craftsmanship. It’s a statement about the conflict and connection between progress and preservation, and how these forces shape our world.

This project challenges the conventional idea of seating by blending natural materials with structural innovation, offering a piece that is both sculptural and functional. Reva Manifesto represents the fusion of traditional craftsmanship and experimental design, urging users to view furniture as more than a static object but rather as a living, evolving form.
